Process implementation in location management

Challenge​

For an across Germany operating tutoring company, processes were created in the area of process management and modelled in BPMN (modelling language for business processes). To ensure an improved traceability of the single process instances and a structured editing of the single process steps, the processes should now be implemented via a SharePoint platform.

Our approach

Use of SharePoint online (Office 365) for the creation of a portal.

  • Analysis of the current and the target processes
  • Development of an architectural concept for the implementation in SharePoint 2013
  • Connection of tasks and data entry
  • Creation of a status overview over all process instances
  • Graphic display of the single process events
  • Integration of the tasks resulting from the process into the personal task overview

Result

The procedures in the location management are processed via SharePoint. The data is collected systematically. Also process modifications can be made via a Key User that is to say without any implementation expenditure. Furthermore the process module was generalized so that processes of other divisions can be displayed, too.
